De Beteld Zelhem has been in operation since 1972. It started as a farmer’s camp and gradually developed into the park it is today. The institution was founded by the Hobelman family. With approximately 500 football pitches and 22 hectares of land, De Betheld Holiday Park in Zelchem is the largest Christian holiday park in the Netherlands and the largest asset of the Betheld Group. The park has over 300 permanent sites, over 100 campsites and less than 150 rental properties. The park includes a 4.5-hectare recreational lake, residences with 147 beds, a cafeteria, snack bar, minimarket and bookstore. There are also 7 meeting rooms, the largest of which, the Ichtus Hall, can accommodate over 1,800 people. During the school holidays we offer a rich Christian program for adults, children and young people. You can swim in the pool or lake, and we have snacks for those who don’t like to cook!
